Schussmeisters’ of Michigan provides a zero profit zero loss Western Ski Trip.  Every effort has been made to provide our members with the lowest cost trip available with the amenities they have become accustom to. Members going on multiple trips will be credited back any duplicate membership fees. Members that qualify for senior discounts will have the discount applied and difference returned.  In the event our trips have a positive balance after all bills are paid – the profit will be divided between all participants. Refunds under 10.00 will not be made. In the event there is a negative balance after the trip — all participants will be required to share in that cost. 

Trip Cancellation Policy

Deposits for all trips will be established by the trip Director, Pam Bradshaw, 5799 S. Main #44, Clarkston, MI 48347, Cell No. (248) 505-7005, E-Mail: pambradshaw@realtor.com

Unless a replacement is found, expenses incurred by Schussmeisters’ of Michigan., such as bus fees, are non-refundable and will be passed on to the person canceling.  Any refunds should be mailed out two weeks after the completion of the trip (if any).

In special situations, the Board of Directors, at its discretion, may decide to waive the cancellation fee.  Special cases are to be submitted in writing to the Schussmeister’s Board for review.

Important Information

Trip Insurance:  The Schussmeisters along, with our Tour Operator, strongly recommends the purchase of comprehensive travel and trip cancellation insurance. We believe insurance coverage is absolutely essential for international trips where medical costs for injury or illness may not be covered by your U.S. based healthcare plan. IMPORTANT:  when filling out the form, please make sure to enter SSS2030 in the field for Booking ID/Number.

Flight Arrangements:  Airline flight schedules or itineraries are subject to change without notice. The Schussmeisters’ nor the Tour Operator has no control over carrier decisions in this regard.

Force Majeure Cancellation:  If COVID-19 causes major travel interruptions impacting the trip (i.e. trip flights cancelled, international travel restricted), or if the resort vendors are closed over the dates of the trip, the group will be extended a credit toward a future trip in the amount paid.  The credit will be subject to credits issued by all trip vendors.

Passport Book

Trip requires participant to obtain a United States Passport and provide the information to the trip director by December 31, 2021. If the Passport information is not provided, the participant will be removed from the trip list unless alternative arrangements are made ahead of time. NOTE:  If your passport expires on or before September 2122, you MUST apply for a new passport prior to the departure of this trip.  Please make sure you have at least two (2) blank pages in your passport book.  If you have a visa, please ensure all documentation is in place. Please provide your Trip Director a copy of your passport that will be submitted before ticketing takes place.
