Hello Schussmeister’s!

I wanted to share the news about our first opportunity to take a group trip this summer. Join us in Sterling, Michigan for a fun weekend of camping on the river! This trip includes a 5 hour kayak/canoe paddle on The Rifle River and two-nights of camping at White’s Campground. We have a group campsite reserved and Chef Al has made it easy on us with plans to hit the Blackstone – serving up breakfast, lunch AND dinner!?! Wow – Don’t forget to tip your chef! 🙂 All jokes aside, I am really looking forward to the opportunity to connect with everyone this summer in anticipation of the 2026/2027 ski season. This is a GREAT opportunity to get away for the weekend, for a very reasonable price!

As your new Activities Director, I have a few ideas – but I’d love to hear your suggestions. Right now I am working on arrangements to secure a date for our annual golf outing, but I’ve also received a few suggestions including local group hikes and maybe even a Traverse City winery tour. I’d love to hear your thoughts! I have big plans for this season and I greatly appreciate feedback and participation from our members.

Camping and kayak spots are limited! A registration form should be live on the website soon, but please feel free to reach out directly to register as well.
