Park City, Utah
January 25 @ 12:00 am – February 1 @ 11:59 pm
Join us as we head to Utah, where the air is fresh and the powder is plentiful! We’ll be skiing Park City Mountain, which offers world-class skiing with old-west charm and on average, receives about 360 inches of snow each year.
How about a day of skiing at Deer Valley Resort? This skier’s-only mountain has been annually ranked by SKI Magazine as one of the top resorts in North America for good reason: The resort limits the number of lift ticket sold daily to just over 7,000, while its actual uphill capacity tops out near 50,000. So you can bet that crowded slopes and long lift lines won’t be an issue during your Deer Valley ski day.
Let’s not forget Sundance Mountain Resort! Yup, you guessed it…your package also includes lift passes for Sundance. Underrated, laid-back and uncrowded, Sundance isn’t one of Utah’s best-known resorts. You can’t see much terrain from the base area, nor does a trail map accurately portray the spectacular skiing, but once you’re on the mountain, it becomes crystal clear. There is a reason why Sundance is intentionally kept a secret. It all makes sense when skiing on the resort’s varied terrain of wide-open powder bowls, perfectly groomed boulevards, playful gullies and a range of tree skiing.
So, there you have it…three different areas, what will you ski first?
After your fun-filled day, head back to the beautiful 4-star Zermatt Utah Resort & Spa where you can enjoy a heated outdoor pool, hot tub or a trip to the spa to massage those tired, achy muscles from a day on the slopes. There are several dining options at Zermatt to choose from, so there’s something for everyone.
Don’t forget, the Sundance Film Festival will be taking place while we are in Utah, it’s the largest independent film festival in the United States!
This trip promises to be a wonderful trip and a must do if you’ve never skied Utah’s famed powder.
For something different, why not visit the Homestead Crater, located close to Zermatt Resort. The crater is a geothermal spring, hidden within a 55-foot tall, beehive-shaped limestone rock. The hole at the top of the dome lets in sunlight and fresh air while the interior stays heated by the mineral water at a constant range of 90 – 96 degrees Fahrenheit. Reservations are needed for the Midway Crater
You’ve heard of the movie “Frozen”, but have you ever been to an actual Ice Castle? Well, you can if you’re on this amazing trip! The experience is built using hundreds of thousands of icicles hand-placed by professional ice artists. This beautiful “Frozen” attraction is not to be missed. You must make reservations for the Ice Castles
Everyone is welcome to join us..the more the merrier! Spaces are filling quickly, so contact Lisa Carney to sign up for this trip before it’s sold out!
