It’s an expansive region, encompassing 18 major peaks and a number of charming mountain towns. There’s not much to be said besides it is easily one of the most stunning regions for skiing you’ll ever come across in your life.
Come and experience the amazing Dolomite Mountains, with the Schussmeisters’ for an adventure of a lifetime. The Dolomites is famous for it’s ski tours. The SellaRonda is a busy 22 mile loop that goes across four of the ski valleys (Alta Badia, Val Gardena, Val di Fassa and Arabba-Marmolada). The collection of different ski areas total 76 miles of piste trails & include hugely diverse terrain ranging from perfect beginner areas to serious free-ride routes plus everything in between.
The Dolomites are recognized by UNESCO as a Natural World Heritage Site. Keep an eye out for the phenomenon that happens at dawn and dusk when the sun light reflects on the walls of the Dolomites, which magically turn to red.
The Sellaronda ski tour can be done easily in one day, without removing your skis and passing through the four Ladin valleys: Val Gardena, Alta Badia, Val di Fassa and Arabba. It can be done clockwise or anticlockwise, starting from any of the four valleys.
Located in the heart of the Dolomites, in Vigo di Fassa, sits the 4-star Hotel Alpen Corona. Nestled in a quiet location with panoramic views and just steps away from where famed Olympian Alberto Tomba trained. The hotel is known both as the “Hotel of the winner” due to their famous guests, as well as a “Traditional Hotel” because of their history.
